Coimbatore Central Bus Stand Was Started In The Year 1974, At Dr.Nanjappa Road, Gandhi Puram.During The Past 30 Years, Coimbatore Had Grown Verymuch Industrialy, Population Wise, Vehicles Wise. The Roads Of Limited Width Could Not Take Up That Congestion. So Reduce The Congestion, Additional Bus Stands Were Started.

For The South Bounds Buses Ukkadam Mofussal Bus Stand Was Started In 1991.

For East Bound Buses, Singanallur Mofussal Bus Stand Was Started In 2002.

In 2006 a New Bus Stand For Video Bus Operators Was Started As Omni Bus In 2006.
